The Bachelorette

I heart Ames.

I really do. 

Did you hurt last night?

I did. 

I also played catch up and I hurt when Ryan got sent home as well.

In fact, that's the best thing about this horrid season.

I'm not invested in any of the pairings of Ashley with the guys.

I'm just invested in the guys.

I like every single one of them. 

So every remaining episode will most likely make me sad, because I honestly like them all.

I'm not really making fun. I adore Ames. (By the way Stacey, I just happened to forget him last week...don't know how.)

Other thoughts:
*This is the best cast of men the show has ever had. I have a heart for so many of them. I love them.
*Sad to see Ben C. go--happy about William.
*Ashley's dumb. I don't think she deserves to be happy.
*Someone needs to teach Ashley how to dress.
*Did anyone else's heart hurt over the boxing date?
Who the $#%$ thought that was a good idea?
Ashley is dumb.
This season would be more of a dud than it already is if it weren't for these guys...thank goodness they're lovable.
She is not!

The Bachelorette....

Okay, I know I'm like a month behind on this.
It's just that I really wasn't too excited about this season. I wasn't an Ashley fan.
But here are my thoughts:

On Ashley:
*I actually feel sorry for her. She is by far the most human Bachelorette they've ever had. Hello insecurities. I am an insecure person, but I like to think that even I am not that insecure.
*Does she ever wear a top. For someone as flat chested as she is and as aware of it as she is...her shirts are always showing off her stuff...it's either that or her stomach. You would think she's confident, but she's not.
*If I have to hear her say, "I was in such a dark place last week!" one more time, I don't think I can watch anymore. Okay, that's probably not true, but I am seriously sick of it. The show has been running for a month and she had tons of one on one dates with great guys. The one guy...you know the one EVERYONE is talking about...I won't even bother to talk about him really because that's what he was after and I won't give it to him...even on my little blog. But seriously. What a dumb girl! How embarrassing!

On the guys:
*I like A LOT of them. I mean a lot. I can't really choose just one at this point because so many of them have my heart. I'm just attached. This is a great set of guys for sure.
I especially like: JP, Mickey, Constantine, Ben C., and Ben F. (with the mural?! I LOVED it, too cute!)
I also like Ryan.
I don't like Blake.
What a girl Blake is for confronting Ryan about being too positive. He didn't even do anything?!?! Isn't Ryan adorable? I think so.
So Blake can go.
And I am not really into personal trainer Nick so he can go.
And William has lost all credibility so he can go, too!
Although, I'd kind of feel bad for William, but he has it coming.

The Bachelor

No, no, no, no, no, NO!

Not pleased at all with the ending of the Bachelor last night.
I loved Chantel and I loved Emily.
I thought I'd be happy with either one.
I actually hurt for Chantel last night.
And I was pissed once Emily's true colors came a-blazing.
She doesn't even look like a Southern Belle anymore.
And I don't think Brad will ever admit it to himself.
And Chantel is dating someone.
And crying still about how things went down with Brad.
That can't be good.
Basically, my brother put it best.
"This show sucks! Don't you hate this. You waste all of these months and this is what happened!"
Basically sums it up.
It was quite unexpected. And I'm not exactly happy.

Thoughts on the women tell all:

*Who is Stacey, I don't even remember her?

I do know that her hair looked greasy. She looks trashy.

And why did she think she was in any place to bad mouth Michelle.

*Jackie? I'm sorry I ever liked her. What a mouth. And an annoying mouth at that.

Shut up girls!

*Did you feel sorry for Michelle? I'm still unsure, but there comes a time when enough is enough.

*I don't like Ashley H.'s "new" look. Even though she went back to brunette.

If you're a natural brunette and you leave. You really aren't welcome back.

*I think tonight just solidified my thoughts. It's Emily. He told her he loved her last week. He had a stronger southern drawl and he said "Mercy!" Twice. He's spending LOTS of time with Emily.

*I am okay with the choice of Emily. I've loved her from the start. However, I love Chantel.

*Brad is still my favorite bachelor. He is the only one to pick my two favorites at the very end.

Which will make for a painful viewing.

But I'm so looking forward.

Who will go home?
My prediction...or rather my hope? Ashley.
Although I feel like maybe this is when the whole preview thing of Brad crying and someone looks like Emily is leaving? Of course that could be totally edited, but they haven't shown it for a while.
Whatever it is...I have a feeling it will come to pass tonight.
Who will sleep with him?
My prediction?
Everyone but Emily.

Finally!
*Got rid of Britt. I had nothin' against the girl but why was she still hanging out?
I didn't really understand that and their date? Awkward!
Michelle FINALLY left. Good grief.
I am so relieved. I really thought we might have had another Jake/Vienna on our hands.
Luckily, Brad is slightly smarter than that.
I say slightly because let's be honest...
what guy actually thinks doing a photo shoot--without warning--for Sports Illustrated is a good idea for a group date?
A pig guy. To answer my own question.
Kill me now.
I would have hated that date.
1. I'm not taking photographs in a bathing suit at this point.
2. Mental preparedness is a very big thing for me
3. I am against the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition in general.
4. I would have definitely gone off on men being pigs and would have been the one sent home after this date...ESPECIALLY after my "date" makes out in the sand with the biggest sleaze of all the women.

So Brad sent Michelle home and that wins him only some respect.
For he is dumb.
I also finally got to see Chantel in a swimsuit.
Isn't it funny how I just told you I'm anti-the swimsuit edition yet I have a picture on here and I linked to it? I think it is, too.

But here's the thing. I was hoping Chantel in a swimsuit would make me feel better or give me some sort of inspiration and on some level it did. But not as I had hoped.
1. I would definitely need a boob job.
2. I definitely need to work harder than I am right now.
I love her.
She was self-concious and I loved her for that.
She was gorgeous!
She is the most normal looking girl I have ever seen on The Bachelorette.
Although, my brother did walk into the room when Chantel was in her suit and the first words out of my brother's mouth--and I could have told you they were coming--"She's fat!"
I think she's gorgeous.
I enjoyed the Michelle going home part the most.
I am anxious to see how the home dates go.

Who do you think is next to go home?
My hopes are on Shawntel but I'm also still waiting for something dramatic to happen with my beloved Emily.
And if you didn't know...I'm all about Chantel these days.

I just read such a better post about this week's episode and I'm feeling at a loss for words.
I have a few thoughts.
You should know that I was home yesterday with strep.
Wasn't feeling 100% at all.
Still not.
So I didn't pay as much attention to detail as I should.
Michelle is ridiculous crazy.
She needs to go home.
Seriously. Is Brad going to end up with her.
He just eats it up.
I loved that he told her to leave him alone.
I love how she acts like she's just playing around and laughs it off when she's giving him the witch eye for having a repelling group date.
AAAH!
And she has a big time potty mouth. Gross.
I love Chantel. I really do.
I thought that when they came out of the rain that fact that ALL Brad had were dress shirts for her to change into and no shorts or anything was interesting.
Yeah. Right.
Awfully convenient.
I think she's it.
I still love Emily but I really don't think they'll end up together.
The rest is just. Blah.
I think the previews keep me more entertained than the actual episodes themselves.
Not looking forward to Chantel crying about the beach photo shoot/make out scene.
This may be seriously problematic.
Next week I believe I am just going to post all of the funny things my mom says while we watch this. That's all I'll post and it will be FAR better than my own posts :)

Thoughts this week:
Like I said to my mom last night. I want to be like Emily when I grow up.
She is beautiful and so gracious.
How well did she handle the NASCAR date?
And without making a scene and begging for Brad's attention.
Which ended up giving her "too much" attention.
According to the girls.
Who need to grow up.
And Allie needs to go home.
AND SO DOES MICHELLE!
She's insane.
Her seductive manipulation with the tie-tugging and lap-sitting
and whispering and kissing.
GROSS!
Gag me!
And Brad fell for it.
Which made me sad.
She needs to go.
Yesterday.
I was somewhat sad to see Ashley H. stay.
I was disappointed in Ashley's total breakdown over going home.
Have a little dignity for crying out loud.
Didn't your mother teach you anything?
I was also sad to hear quotes like,
"I just never thought it would be me and Ashley."
Now that's some deep thinking.
I laughed.
I like Chantel.
I loved the shopping spree date.
I bet a million trillion dollars though that I would never allow anyone to spend $5,000 on a purse for me.
Especially a purse that I wouldn't buy at Big Lots.
Hideous.
I don't have designer taste.
But I do have decent taste.
Give me a shopping spree somewhere else I guess.
I think the previews make me nervous and excited.
Did it look like he was hugging Emily goodbye and bawling to anyone else.
I am dying.
Gotta see what happens.
And Michelle has definitely got to go.
Anyone else think Brad will pull a Jake? She is the Vienna of the group.

Thoughts on last night:

-Michelle is crazy. Absolutely positively crazy. And it seems Brad can't get enough??? Don't get it.
-Brad is totally smitten with Emily and I don't blame him. So am I. Still...even though she had very little airtime last night. I wonder how the race car date will end next week. I really think he already knew that and should've been more cautious.
-I no longer like Ashley H. (Remember, I've always like Ashley S. better?)
-I am completely thrown off by the chemistry and developing relationship with Chantel O. I think I like it. I think I like her.
-I still like Jackie.
-I am still loving this season.

Thoughts on last night:-Madison actually redeemed herself before leaving...and she took out her fangs. Thank goodness.
-I still CANNOT STAND Michelle. I love Brad but when he commented that she can steal him away any night of the week...I began to seriously question his judgment there.
-I love Ashley S.
-I would have died on her date at the recording studio. No way. No way. I seriously cannot even sing a little bit and it took MONTHS for Zach to hear me sing...like goofy in the car...not real attempts. Anyway, it's definitely not first date material for me.
-With that said...did you not LOVE how Brad sucked at singing but really went for it. Made me love him just a little bit. I really enjoyed watching that date. I laughed.
-I love Ashely S.
-I love Ashley H. but she only gets one mention this week
-I love and adore Emily.
-I cannot stop staring at Emily. She is absolutely GORGEOUS!
-I loved the girl who said, "So nobody hates Emily...awesome!" I laughed at that too.
-I'm curious to see Chantel's stuff next week...looked exciting.
-I like Shawntel/Shawntal? Too lazy to look it up (I don't love her yet but I like her a fair amount).
-I also like Jackie a fair amount.
-I really am fond of Brad as the bachelor. I am LOVING this season...like I haven't loved a season in a very long time.

Thoughts after last night:*I still cannot stand Madison...although she didn't really do anything last night.
*I really can't stand Michelle.
*I still adore Emily.
*Emily is absolutely STUNNING. I cannot get over it.
*I still really really like both Ashleys.
* I think I like (I CANNOT think of her name) she went on the Pretty Woman date last night...although I think she sang to Brad the first night...I still think I like her...and she's pretty.
*I think I like Shawntel or Shawntal? However you spell it.
*Brad is my favorite bachelor...he's the smartest one I've seen thus far...he sent the two cat fighters home!
*How embarrassing was the girl who got sent home and then told how she was the worlds worst dater...
she dates men at work, that doesn't work out
she dates men her friends hook her up with ...that doesn't work out
she online dates...that doesn't work out
the Bachelor was kind of her "last ditch effort."
What?!?
I'm going to compete with 30 other beautiful women for ONE desirable man?
Why would you leave your last chance to those kinds of odds?
And most of all, why would you share that???
I just don't get it.
